Elegy

Today Politico has an article with this somewhat dramatic title.

Trump and his allies move to bury Biden

That was all the stimulus I needed to craft the following bit of doggerel.

Friends, Americans, countrymen, lend me your ears;
I come to bury Biden, not to praise him.
The evil that men do lives after them;
The good is oft interred with their bones;
So let it be with Biden. I knew him not;
And remain content it were so.
