Today we celebrate all those who've served honorably in the armed forces of the United States: the Army, Navy including Marines, Air Force, and Coast Guard. Your efforts and sacrifices have made our lives today possible.
In particular I honor my father and his brother, both officers in the Army, the brother a West Point grad. Two of my mother's brothers served in the Army Air Corps and her kid sister served in the WACs and married an ex-sailor after the war. All were proud of their service.
