The United States was sneak attacked at Pearl Harbor by the Empire of Japan. Some years later we dropped two nuclear weapons on Japan, thereby ending the long and bloody war. I support our doing so.
Last October 7 Hamas did an equivalent sneak attack on the small nation of Israel. Israel has retaliated to be sure but has done nothing half so draconian as drop nukes.
A bunch of Democrats are whining about Israel being too tough on the Palestinians in Gaza. Yet the Israelis have done nothing much compared to our two nukes.
I'm not sure what gives us the right to tell Israel to take it easy when we disintegrated Hiroshima and Nagasaki and nearly everybody living in both cities.
