Gov. Tim Walz calls the Trump-Vance ticket "weird." I'll tell you what I find weird, that as governor Walz would let angry black people burn down much of Minneapolis during the George Floyd riots while he left the Minnesota National Guard in their barracks.
Walz' attitude at the time was that the rioters were largely justified in destroying the city. That is some evil kind of weird. He never saw a progressive policy he didn't love at first sight. Or a wholesome, middle class family value he didn't despise.

Later ... Rumor has it that when Harris interviewed Walz and Shapiro, she liked Walz. Shapiro has sort of hinted he wasn't simpatico with Harris and it's likely that feeling was mutual. Not-smart people seldom like smart people.
