America's Oldest President

DNYUZ reprints a New York Times article by columnist Peter Baker, who writes a sympathetic but ultimately concerning article about President Joe Biden's age and its related infirmities. He paints a picture of a good man in decline, and probably exaggerates the "good man" part because those are Baker's politics.

What emerges is a picture of age related frailty and mental lapses, combined with the garrulity of oft-repeated stories of dubious veracity. Take my word for it, these issues are real, I live with them myself to some degree.

It cannot inspire confidence abroad to see the leader of the world's hegemonic power looking like he's lost more than a couple of steps, mentally and physically. Four more years of this evident, accelerating decline is not in our nation's best interest, nor is the elevation of Vice President Harris.
