In the 2024 Republican primary race, two pieces of Monday morning news from The Hill. Piece number one: As expected, former governor and Vice President Mike Pence is running, he has filed the relevant paperwork.
Piece number two: New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu announced he has decided not to enter the race for the 2024 GOP nomination.
One is tempted to paraphrase the famous counting rhyme Ten Little Indians as we count down the aspirants to the final selectee. There is at least some dispute whether the rhyme originally referred to natives of India or North America.
