A whistleblower has told the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Taskforce that various government agencies have retrieved downed UFOs which exhibit alien, non-human technology. Various (though not necessarily the same) government agencies have denied having any such objects.
This is the sort of story I have to force myself to be ultra skeptical about since I would very much like it to be true. Full disclosure: I am a long-time hard science fiction aficionado; the "hard" designates much less interest in fantasy and magic.
If the allegation should happen to be true, it means interstellar travel is possible. Knowing that fact frees up our scientists to figure out how it is done. Imagine the possibilities....
