By 2008, it was obvious to anybody who was paying attention that Barack Obama had a strange and highly creepy personal life, yet nobody ever asked him about it.
AW also includes video of the late Joan Rivers claiming Michelle Obama is transexual and Barack is gay, which claims were made not in a comedy routine but to a reporter, over her shoulder, while walking.
I've seen vague allusions to something like this but nothing quite so blatant. I'm tempted to write "You might very well think that, I couldn't possibly comment" because I like the retort's oblique elegance. Truthfully, I'd guess the chances of the claim being accurate are something less than 50-50.
Because of his early life, Obama is a weird dude: he had odd and often absentee parentage, multiple names growing up, and strange mentors. Raised in both white American and muslim Indonesian cultures, he decided to immerse himself in black American culture as an adult.
With a background like his, he's been an "exotic" all his life, wherever he happened to be. I figure he's learned how to fake "normal." What's behind the facade is anybody's guess, and may not be very nice or healthy.
