Gateway Pundit has a piece speculating about various choices Trump might make for a VP running mate. As you might guess, it reaches no firm conclusions.
The names include Sen. J.D. Vance, SD Gov. Christi Noem, AR Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Arizona's Kari Lake, and FL Rep. Byron Donalds. Plus they tease the possibility that he might pick Tucker Carlson, who is almost as controversial as Trump himself.
I'm sure Trump likes Carlson, not so sure he'd want that much of a competitor for the limelight. Of the group the most solidly competent is Sanders, who worked for him earlier.
