Frontrunner Joe Biden didn't do poorly through most of Wednesday night in Detroit. Spectator USA's Roger Kimball reports what happened then.

He lost it during his closing statement, alas, when he suggested that Donald Trump might be president for another eight years. That might in fact be a good idea. I do not think it is what he meant to say.

I concur, with the proviso that the slip cannot be definitively said to be "Freudian." Perhaps it would be more charitable to call it "a senior moment."
