Instapundit posts a Tweet by the Washington Examiner’s chief political correspondent Byron York. It contains a map of places across the country BLM demonstrations and riots have occurred.
The map shows that if you stay west of the Mississippi River, east of the Sierra and Cascade Mountains, and outside of the handful of big cities, you can largely ignore BLM unrest. It is something happening to other people, much like reading about a dust storm in the Sahara or floods in China.
That may be news to those on the coasts; we who call this region home know that is part of its charm. So y’all crabby, anxious, neurotic coastal types please stay away, we don’t need your angst here. You’ve fouled your nest, don’t foul ours.
